Picture of Birch Cooper, a male with brown hair, brown eyes wearing a blue dress shirt

Hello, my name is Birch. It’s nice to meet you.

Therapy is about change and growth, an endeavor that takes commitment and courage. Congratulations on taking the first step!

I myself have personally benefited from therapy, so I understand the benefits as well as the courage it takes to utilize introspection in order to grow. As an adolescent I struggled with being different while attending a suburban high school in Ohio. Through the process of self acceptance, my first experience with therapy allowed me to live authentically as a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community. I welcome all sexual and gender identities with unconditional acceptance of you being your authentic self, which is the cornerstone of my work with all clients.

If you're looking for a therapist who can provide you with support, as well as practical tools to help you grow into your fullest self, you've come to the right place. Thanks for considering the process of therapy - I look forward to hearing from you!

Google Business Reviews

What was most important to me when seeking counseling services was finding someone who took the time to understand my thinking and could help guide me in a healthy direction. I found such a person in Birch.

As a writer, I often struggle with a crippling sense of self doubt and imposter syndrome. His compassionate approach for helping me find my emotional triggers and personal roadblocks has helped me get on the path of gaining confidence in my own abilities. This sometimes includes me affirming my own worth and capability.

Even in virtual sessions, Birch feels present and attentive every step of the way. I look forward to continuing my work with him. If you're looking for someone to listen and offer support with anxiety, depression, or self-esteem, I highly recommend Birch Cooper.
